01 / The problem
The same job, typed into two systems.
When the CRM or the field software can't talk to the accounting system, someone retypes each job into it, and the two drift apart over time.
02 / What I build
Four ways accounting stays in step.
Job or order to invoice
A closed job or a new order creates the invoice without anyone keying it in.
Payments and collections
Payments are matched to invoices and late ones get a follow up.
Reconciliation
Payments and the ledger are checked against each other, with differences listed.
Reporting
Figures come from the accounting system itself, on a schedule.
03 / Examples
Builds I can point to.
- A furniture retailer lost the third party integration that moved its products from Shopify into Xero, so I built the replacement sync. Read the case study.
- An investment group needed capital call payments tracked and reconciled in QuickBooks, and I built the automation that does it.
- A recruiting firm needed its collections follow-up handled without a person keeping a list, and I built it in Power Automate.
04 / Controls
Systems that touch money need guardrails.
I build in approvals and logs so you can review what ran. I wrote about the approach in automating financial operations safely.
05 / How I work
Remote, from Grapevine.
I'm based in Grapevine, Texas, and I work with companies across Dallas-Fort Worth and the rest of the US by video call and shared screens. I don't visit client offices. When the build is done you own the accounts and the code, and I hand over the documentation.
06 / Questions
Before you book.
What access do you need?
Only what the integration requires, granted through your own accounts. You can remove it whenever you want.
Which accounting systems do you work with?
QuickBooks and Xero are the ones on this page. If you use something else, tell me and I'll say whether I can help.
Where does a project start?
With a Growth Systems Audit, a written diagnostic of how your systems connect and what I would fix first.
